This is a 1980 Ebony Gibson Les Paul Standard Guitar in very good shape. It’s a fine looking guitar, but I never play it. I did have it recently set up. It was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA May Twenty third, 1980 Production Number: 106. It’s solid Mahogany body with maple top. It has a three piece maple neck. Pickups: One pickup is either a Shaw or T-Top (not sure which but I think it’s a Shaw). The other pickup is a DiMarzio (the modification was made before I bought it, way back in 1987). It sounds great, and as I said is in terrific shape but there are a couple of dings, light scratches and some belt-buckle rash on the back.  It’s missing the little cap on the “Rhythm/Treble” switch. I had one of the Pickup Rings replaced after the original one was cracked. It’s quite a fine looking guitar, but it deserves a person who will play it. Ships in US.

The serial number is:  81430606.

*very good as defined by the website Reverb:  “Very Good describes items with perhaps a couple of more cosmetic imperfections than Excellent but is still in great condition overall. With guitar, for example, you might find some scratches, buckle rash, or other minor blemishes but nothing that affects the playability or function of the instrument.”

I just had the guitar set-up and restrung. I’m ready to ship it on Monday.
