This 1971 Gibson Les Paul deluxe is definitely a beaut! This is a totally unmolested piece and a nice and playable instrument, finished in a rare vintage cherry sunburst finish, this guitar is perfect for your collection!
This guitar was made from a four-ply mahogany body and maple top, and an exquisite vintage cherry sunburst finish. It sports a 50s’ style three-piece maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard, a pair of replacement Gibson mini-humbucker pickups with logos, a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, 3-way toggle switch with 2 volume and 2 tone controls, chrome hardware and original Gibson deluxe tuners.
This guitar is in excellent condition for it’s age. It does have a few finish checking and dings on the top, some light buckle rashes on the back and a pair tiny dings on the neck. It’s been re-fretted at some points and the frets are in very good condition with only some light fretwear, the neck is dead straight and very smooth. The pickguard was removed. Overall it’s structurally sound and plays and sounds great!
