This is a 1971 GibsonLes Paul Gold Top.  These are rare due to the pickups only being producedfor 6 months. I have the”Vintage Guitar Price Guide 2013″ as showing a low of $4300 and ahigh of $5300.  It is in excellent condition so I am listing the guitar for $3600 and the guide is four years oldso the prices are probably just a little higher.  This guitar is one of thebest/smoothest I have ever played and I even have been playing for20+ years.  The neck plays effortlessly. Thefrets don’t have much life left in them but that’s good if you’re a collectoror you can be in control of a fret job if that’s what you want to do. There are “grooves”for lack of a more robust word on the back of the neck that don’t show up in thepictures and don’t affect playability but I am trying to discloseeverything.  This is my nicest Les Pauland I hate to let it go but I could really use the money right now.  I think it is in very good shape for a 47year old guitar.

I don’t really want tosell but I really need the money right now. This is why I am selling the guitar for such a low price compared towhat it’s worth but that’s what I’m willing to do to get this guitar tosell.  I am a player and collector andnot some sort of online music store.  The guitar does not come with a case

but I will supply agig bag and will have UPS package everything and will pay for insurance andmake sure someone will sign for delivery. I hope you get to enjoy this 1971 Les Paul as much as I even have!

I have a deal to sellthis to a local buyer for $3K but it’s looking like that might fallthrough.  So for the next few days I will sell this for $3K plus shippingto the first bidder.  You can look all over ebay and you will not find anicer early 70’s gold top for less money.  And this deal is only for thenext couple of days after that it will be pulled off the market.  You willnot be disappointed.

I hope you get toenjoy this 1971 Les Paul as much as I even have!
